The best part of this hotel was Simon on reception, who was really funny, accommodating, and friendly. He was super knowledgeable, and really made us laugh. In terms of the room, the decor was cosy, water nice and hot, the place was clean. The walls are a little thin (our neighbours were noisy- but Simon sorted it out), beds are comfortable and amenities are decent for the price.
This was a great place to stay, yes some of the furniture is a little dated/worn but everything else was very good, room and dining area were all clean, Staff was amazingly friendly, food was very good (we had a great breakfast every morning we were there). My only complaint is not having a mini fridge in our room, would have been nice to have some place to keep drinks cold and keep some left overs chilled from our various excursions. But again great place to stay. Thank you, it made our time in Scotland very enjoyable to have a comfortable place each night to come back to.
I had a wonderful recent stay here at Pitbauchile House Hotel. .Nothing was too much trouble. The entire staff were helpful, amiable & professional. Special commendations to the kitchen staff & restaurant staff. Particularly Liz & Kylie. However the Chef made me my new favourite meal - Bang Bang Cauliflower! Definitely staying again & anytime we are over from Australia! Tremendous place!!!
My room was spotless as was the bathroom. The bar and restaurant were excellent and the view was spectacular. The food was great, Cullen skink and a flame grilled homemade burger, so good. Overall a great 1 night stay, the staff were very friendly and helpful
Exactly what we needed. Rooms are a little dated but clean, comfortable and quiet. Had a great view we could see the forth bridge in the distance! Not too far from shops and plenty of places to eat. I'd happily stay again
Enjoyed our stay albeit it was for a funeral. Food was lovely with generous portions. Friendly service. Corridors were a bit tired. Need decorating. Bed was very comfortable.

A lovely Hotel in Dunfermline. The rooms have all what is needed, Restroom was new and spacious Shower. The Reception was super friendly and helpful. Good for our stopover! 30min walk to the Trainstation.
